Mandatory Reporting Introduction (21st February 2024)
The Home Office issued a press release on 21st February to announce that they were introducing Mandatory Reporting as part of the Criminal Justice Bill currently going through Parliament. In addition they are going to stop registered sex offenders from changing their name to avoid detection. I was asked to give my opinion on the proposed law change on the mid morning Julia Hartley-Brewer show.
Talk TV Crime Suspect Series (January 2024)
I was delighted to be invited to share my views on the Rochdale Grooming Scandal on Talk TV, which went out live on 24th January 2024, and can be watched on You Tube. We discuss what went wrong in the Rochdale Grooming Scandal, and whether it is simply a non-recent problem that still happens today. Our skilled presenter took us through the issues, and how the systems both failed the victims, and how the mistakes were made.

I was delighted to be invited by an old friend David Niven, of the Social World Podcast in December 2023 to contribute on the 10th Anniversary of his Podcast site by talking about the Child Abuse work I do, and what the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers www.childabuselawers.com seeks to contribute for the benefit of the subject matter, training, and good practise for the very damaged clients that we represent. You can always tell a good and experienced interviewer because they ask the right questions and encourage you to speak about your chosen subject with background knowledge and skill.

Air TV Interview (29th May 2023)
This is an interview I gave to the worldwide TV online station Air TV with Rodney Hearth. It covers many subjects such as my professional life, how I deal with cases emotionally and professionally, how to deal with a distressed client, the law and how it needs to change, the development and history of child abuse law, my fostering of children, my views on the sentencing of abusers, my autism, my awards etc.
