St Johns Children’s Home, Erdington in Birmingham

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, there were multiple reports of child sexual abuse at St Johns Children’s Home in Gravelly Hill North, Erdington.

Gilbert Lewis, a social worker, was convicted for five years in 2008, according to the Birmingham Mail, after a ten-year campaign of abuse against boys who were students there.
